The following letters are templates which should be used to communicate to volunteer applicants the results of the screening process and the decision of the CPC about their suitability and placement as a volunteer.

When communicating with an applicant that their application has been rejected, it is important to go into as little detail as possible.  Do not make changes in the content of the “decline” letter.  This format has been approved by UK Legal Affairs.
